Your perfect day out and about in Simon's Town...

Set off with a short stroll to nearby Fisherman’s beach. Blow away the cobwebs and hop in for a swim. Meander along grassy pathways to discover hidden beaches and rockpools. Continue a little way up the road and visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Afterwards, wander around Simon’s Town where you can stop for lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants and coffee shops before browsing quaint shops and historic sites.

At the harbour book an activity from sailing and fishing, to boat trips out to Seal Island and Whale watching. Linger here until evening and watch the locals’ fish for squid from the harbour wall before returning to The Tides for a sundowner on your verandah. In season, from your room or private verandah, keep an eye out for Southern Right and Humpback whales in False Bay on their annual migration. Simply perfect!
